Trading since 1997

One dealer, 28 years

Geoff established South Perth Antiques in 1997. He has bought, sold, restored, and valued pieces across four showrooms and two decades of changing tastes.

Our story

South Perth Antiques began in 1997 in a small showroom on the South Perth foreshore. For 23 years it served collectors, interior designers, and casual buyers looking for pieces with history.

In 2020 the business moved to a larger warehouse in Carlisle, giving Geoff space to expand into mid-century furniture and larger antique pieces. The Carlisle showroom ran for four years before Geoff made a deliberate choice to scale back.

In 2024 South Perth Antiques returned to a by-appointment model. The reasons were simple: lower overheads mean lower prices, and one-on-one appointments mean better service. Geoff now sees fewer people each week, but gives each one his full attention.

The stock is still extensive. Forty categories spanning Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Arts and Crafts, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and Mid Century. Furniture, ceramics, glass, jewellery, clocks, lighting, collectables, and curiosities. Everything is photographed in-house, priced openly, and available to view by appointment or to ship anywhere in Australia.
